Bulking is the art of eating just the right amount of calories for your body to build muscle, not any overkill. I know all this by experience, and I work out six days a week in an extremely athletic, disciplined environment that requires me to eat in excess. Even as a vegan I am not immune because I eat plenty whenever I want to keep my weight back, bulking how much weight per week.
