Marcus Damon started as a DJ in the late 00’s, playing at small functions to build up his portfolio as a DJ mixing his interests in 90s music such Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Jazz, House and Garage Music.

Marcus slowly used that skill to forward a career in recording and production which gave him an outlook how to form good music, in terms of how it is produced.

In recordings of; California Love' by 2Pac ft Dr Dre, 'A Long Walk' by Jill Scott’ and 'Get Ur Freak On' by Missy Elliott, Marcus has studied step by step how these producers created their sound. He has a good ear to spot where the depth is sustained and its importance within a track, giving him the influence to create a certain sounds that has made him the producer he is today. 

 

Marcus attended London College of Music studying BA Music Technology, which has enhanced his knowledge in music production with mixing and mastering.
